Clendening returns to the Blackhawks after being drafted by Chicago in the second round (36th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft. He skated in four games with the Blackhawks during the 2014-15 season, tallying one goal and one assist. He has played in 86-career NHL games with six teams over four seasons. During that time, he has registered 24 points (4G, 20A). Panik collected 16 points (6G, 10A) in 37 games with the Blackhawks this year. The 26-year-old had 34 goals and 34 assists in 149 career games with Chicago. He was acquired by the Blackhawks on January 3, 2016 from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for Jeremy Morin.
